Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing instrumentation engineering documents, undertaking, performing, or supervising installations, commissioning and start-up, preventive and corrective maintenance calls, and warranty calls for customers with a service contract or a warranty commitment meeting the contract obligations.
• Perform installations for the assigned projects for Field Solutions LoB.
• Undertake preventive maintenance and service work for all accounts and act as a technical consultant to the client regarding the work undertaken.
• Prepare descriptive technical reports on occurring problems and submit them to the service manager for review and approval.
• Follow up work progress with project teams.
• Prepare service reports and ensure reports are submitted to Engineering and the service manager.
• Conduct site surveys when necessary and submit them to project teams and sales teams.
• Follow up all HSE instructions.

Personal skills

• Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Power or Mechanical Design and Production Engineering.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very good command of English.

Technical skills

• Very good with measurements, instrumentation, and valves.
• Good knowledge of mechanical standards such as ASME SEC VIII DIV 1, B31.1, B31.3, B16.5, etc.
• Strong command of mechanical design principles, methods of manufacturing, and piping layout.
• Good knowledge of welding methodology.
• Strong command of AutoCAD.
• Strong command of 3D modeling using Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.
• Troubleshooting skills for the range of Giza products.
