Overview of the role
Join IKEA's dynamic team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in Visual Merchandising (VM) & Interior Design (ID. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real projects, develop practical skills and contribute to our creative processes. You must attend at least 4 weeks' full time whether in August or September with a possibility for extension upon the business needs and candidate's availability.
What you will do
Visual Merchandising/Interior Design (VM/ID):
- Spend half of your time on ID tasks and the other half on VM tasks.
- Assist in creating visually appealing and functional spaces.
- Collaborate with the team to implement design concepts.
- Participate in setting up new displays and rearranging existing ones.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on current design trends.
- Help in planning and executing in-store events and promotions.
- Ensure that all designs meet IKEA's quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Provide input on improving store layout and customer flow.
Requirements:

- Ability to engage in physical tasks.
- Strong commitment and passion for design and visual merchandising.
