Employment: Full Time

The Inventory Control Manager is in charge of ensuring appropriate monitoring and updating of inventory gures through efficient planning and management of the department's activities

Key Accountabilities
• Prepare the Inventory Control Department's annual budget and business plan and implement projects accordingly Oversee the inventory transactions: Sales, receiving, transfers between stores, change of season, change of prices to ensure compliance to set policies and procedures
• Ensure efficient communication level with suppliers on various issues among which credit notes related to Return To Vendor, damages, change of price and seasonal credit notes Validate, after thorough calculation, the cost of goods sold (COGS); put in place the physical takes’ schedule, audit items' count in stores prior to signing o on results
• Follow up closely with the regional Inventory department to ensure a proper implementation of the policies and procedures to control losses and decrease the percentage of shrinkage
• Monitor to guarantee adequate business processes testing prior to opening dates
• Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximise their potential and contribution to the company

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, MBA is a plus
• 5-7 years of experience in Inventory or related field, retail is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory soft wares, accounting soft wares is a plus
• Fluency in English
