Overview of the Role
The IT analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and customer-centric operation of the store's IT systems, which directly impacts daily sales, customer experience, and co-worker productivity. The role involves working closely with various functions on ERP application engagements, supporting new system implementations, upgrades, and extension of existing applications. Additionally, the IT analyst ensures optimal performance and availability of all critical IT infrastructure and applications within the store, supporting day-to-day operations.
What You Will Do
- IT systems management
Manage and maintain business applications and databases to improve efficiency of system operations.
Ensure all critical IT infrastructure and applications within the store are functioning seamlessly and consistently available to support day-to-day operations.
Maintain stable and competent systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy. - User support and engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day support on IT operations, requests, and incidents across multiple stores and business units regionally.
Ensure average response time and meantime to resolution are in line with defined IKEA Digital/IT service level agreements, achieving high end-user satisfaction scores. - Digital and IT solutions integration
Coordinate with the Business Solutions Manager and Digital/IT project teams to implement and integrate digital and IT solutions across various channels (stores and online).
Support the project team on market expansion projects, configuring and implementing digital and IT solutions across new business units as per project timelines.
Assist in the development and implementation of D365/NAV/BC solutions across various modules, including design and development of integrations between D365 and other systems.
Ensure successful rollout of solutions with minimal post-implementation concerns.
Required Skills to Be Successful
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC and D365.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with business users and project teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment.
What Qualifies You for the Role
- 5+ years experience working as an IT analyst in the retail industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Sound technical and functional knowledge of ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC, D365, CRM365.
- Practical experience managing databases (SQL, Oracle) and troubleshooting technical issues.
- 1-2 years of experience in either D365, BC, or NAV.
