CCDS is seeking a detail-oriented IT & cybersecurity writer to join our team as an IT documents writer & bidding specialist. In this crucial role, you will create high-quality documentation and proposals that effectively articulate our IT and cybersecurity solutions to clients. You will collaborate closely with the presales and technical teams to ensure that all materials reflect the organization's capabilities and meet the specific needs of our customers and stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone with a strong writing background and a passion for technology and cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and write compelling technical documents, proposals, and RFP responses centered on IT and cybersecurity services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, presales, and technical experts, to gather information and insights necessary for documentation.
• Ensure that all written materials adhere to company standards, quality expectations, and client requirements.
• Research industry trends, product offerings, and competitor strategies to enhance proposal quality.
• Participate in strategy sessions to understand client needs and the competitive landscape.
• Maintain a repository of standard documents, templates, and case studies for use in future proposals.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving proposal processes and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in technical writing, proposal writing, or presales documentation in an IT or cybersecurity context.
• Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documents.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with proposal management and document collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Experience with RFP responses and understanding customer requirements is highly desirable.
• Certifications related to technical writing or IT/cybersecurity (e.g., Certified Professional Technical Communicator) are a plus.
