Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
To manage the IT/IS maintenance Department. To establish, source and maintain the IS/IT, to meet the needs of the various users and divisions. To maintain the computer system (hardware and software) and provide recommendations for upgrades / enhancements. To ensure that appropriate security and backup policies are in place for the safeguarding of the company database. To provide assistance and service across the company with respect to hardware and software requirements to ensure that all users are operational at all times. To conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations. To implement and follow-up the suitable cybersecurity aspects. To establish, source and maintain IT system to meet the needs of the various users and divisions. To maintain the computer system (hardware and software) and provide recommendations for upgrades / enhancements. To ensure that appropriate security and backup policies are in place for the safeguarding of the company database. To review annual budget, maintenance expenses and explain monthly budget variances. To provide assistance and service across the company with respect to hardware and software requirements to ensure that all users are operational at all times. To oversee the drive for improved system performance. To participate in the design, testing, implementation, modifications, documentations of systems, applications and infrastructure. To manage and integrate interfaces between different systems. To ensure the accuracy of data in all systems. To implement the functional business analysis of current systems, map process and services of the information system. To deliver specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. To effectively and efficiently meet business needs and objectives Root Cause Analysis and design of process improvements. To control and administer the servers, resources, back-up policy and access rights. To document and keep-up to date the installation and configurations of systems. To ensure reliability and security of the information system.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Define project specifications, process and metrics. Design and manage a road map of projects to allow the company to improve its information system. Gather current issues and provide pro-active solutions with applications. To manage the personnel of the IT IS department. To undertake any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification in IT & IS Management

KNOWLEDGE:
IT, IS, Data management knowledge and skills. Technical database knowledge and skills. Change management. Analytical ability Affinity for number. Dealing with Complexity. Ability to present at an Executive level. Verbal Communication. Written Communication Use Analytical Tools. Attention to Detail. Autonomous SQL knowledge. Database Analysis knowledge. Good problem solving skills Process mapping. EAM such Maximo.

EXPERIENCE:
At least, 10 years' relevant experience in IT IS management. Spent at minimum 5 years in the railway IT IS implementation and maintenance environment. Have an experience in the change management culture.
