Description

Understanding and verifying design documents. Clarifying precisely what actions the application is intended to perform.
Breaking down application specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into application modules. Devising possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options.
Responsible for completing assigned tasks by team leader. Sharing the design tasks with the application development team leader. Providing code quality for assigned tasks.
Write a specific section of the application. Providing technical support to junior developers. Adapting current applications to new requirements, as necessary.
Combining all elements of the application and testing it. Testing sample data sets to check that output from the application works as intended.
Reacting to problems and correcting the application as necessary. Deploying the application and conducting final testing. Analyzing and tuning the application performance.
Investigating, analyzing, and documenting reported defects. Creating and tracing test cases and problem scenarios to locate and maintain sources of problems.
Performing maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Writing detailed operational documentation for the operation of the application by users and operators.
Consulting manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn new ways to develop application programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science.
Candidates must have 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Kony.
Hands-on experience with Kony Visualizer and Kony Fabric.
Hands-on experience with push notifications and FFI/NFI.
Hands-on experience with native mobile application development.
Strong knowledge of Kony front-end design and Mobile Fabric.
Strong knowledge of Java 7 and above.
Strong experience with Java services, pre-processor, and post-processor.
Strong experience with Mobile Fabric on-premise environment.
Hands-on experience with Google Play Store and iOS App Store deployment.

Familiarity with the following skills is an added advantage:

• Experience with Kony DBX.
• Experience with Java EE (Spring, web services, etc.).
• Consuming and implementing REST/JSON and SOAP/XML services.
• Proven ability to design and implement mobile applications using Kony best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze and understand existing processes and code.
