A reputable and well-established energy and light systems manufacturing company is actively recruiting a lead cost controller for their team in Egypt.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day financial matters including but not limited to invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and tax.
• Analyze cost variances between the standard and actual cost to ensure proper costing settings.
• Closely coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect and assess data for cost tools and product management.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to validate information in the system.
• Support cross-functional teams for cost evaluation, pre-qualification activities, and cost updates.
• Prepare cost reports and presentations for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting. Relevant certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is preferred.
• Minimum five to seven years of relevant experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Must have a strong cost management background.
• Strong proficiency in cost modeling techniques, financial analysis, and ERP systems. SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of local and international accounting rules, policies, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
