Description
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex logistics data, including inventory levels, shipping times, transportation costs, and delivery performance.
Develop and maintain databases of logistics information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Create and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the success of implemented strategies.
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the supply chain, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Propose and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve service levels.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of proposed changes.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Support the planning and execution of inventory replenishment strategies.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience (3+ years) in a logistics analysis, supply chain, or operations role.
Strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, CRM, data visualization tools).
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present complex information clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
