Job description

• Carry out maintenance and production of all plumbing items in the facility.
• Keep the technical services workshop up and running.
• Care for and repair the plumbing items in the facility.
• Perform tasks assigned by the manager that are related to the department and position.
• Take part in any work that requires full participation of the Technical Service Department.
• Replace any broken taps and repair damage issues in bathrooms and public areas.
• Work on a shift basis and start the shift on time.
• Keep the workspace clean and ensure it is cleaned after work is complete. Must always look clean and proper and wear a uniform.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested.
• Work according to the policies, procedures, and instructions identified by the Chief Engineer.
• Take part in the Emergency Response Teams.
• Take all necessary measures to ensure occupational and worker health and comply with all safety regulations.
• Be aware of environmental impacts of activities and equipment, participate in initiatives to protect biodiversity, share individual responsibility to increase environmental knowledge, and attend necessary training.
• Minimize consumption of resources currently used, such as paper and printed materials.
• Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility.
• Follow through on decisions made to conserve energy.
• Consider environmental effects and energy efficiency when purchasing equipment.
• Fulfill responsibilities to properly eliminate and collect waste, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.
• Carry out all responsibilities related to quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facilities.
• Perform other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a technical high school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: At least 2 years of practical experience required by the job.
• Foreign language: Not required.
• Courses and training: Not required.
• Computer literacy: Not required.
• Skills: Expected to use basic tools and equipment related to the job. Certification in the related field is preferred if necessary.
