About the role
- As the Digital Product & Service Consultant, you will develop actionable recommendations for your clients in identifying, defining new product and services and how they can be best introduced to the market.
- Your client base will be varied, and you should have experience in applying core concepts, methodology across different markets and market segments and transactional models focusing on B2B, B2B2B, and B2B2.
- You should be experienced in developing the value chain and experienced in developing key value propositions and unique selling points.
- You will be expected analyze industry, market and customer trends and contribute to the product and service-related strategic planning.
- You shall have experience in conducting market forecasts developing full set of justified assumptions and resulting projections.
- You will support the clients with feasibility analysis, and you should have experience in building business cases and conducting financial analysis.
- You will be expected to develop user journey narratives, identifying key moments of truth in the journey and develop use cases in demonstrating the key service needs that satisfies these journeys and their relation to the business objectives.
- Use Case development will follow a structured approach, and experience in prior use case development in industry wide recognized structures including unified modeling language (UML) is required.
- You should have experience in developing high level sequence diagrams that would depict the system interactions.
- You should excel in deductive reasoning and have sharp skills in simplifying concepts and constraints in their approach to their work.
- You will be working in developing service catalogues and providing functional and non-functional requirements for the services included in the catalogue and ensure these requirements a clear, concise, and comprehensive in their coverage. You will establish a channel strategy as required that is best suited for the product and service catalogue that is created on the behalf of your client.
- This role is a customer facing role and the consultant is expected to possess very good presentation and writing skills. These skills should be complemented by solid negotiation skills, stakeholder management, time management and stakeholder management skills.
Requirements:
About you
- Bachelor degree in business, industrial engineering, information systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the software and system integration with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated at a leading consultancy firm working in product and service development, digital transformation advisory capacity.
- Experience in developing business models, and conducting financial analysis
- Experience with digital services and digital service delivery approaches.
- Prior experience working in PPP projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in use case development using UML is preferred.
- Experience using BI tools such as PowerBI would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to Middle East market, regulations, and competitive market dynamics
- Consultative selling and delivery experience
- Business process discovery and analysis.
- Vertical market knowledge (smart cities, districts, buildings, service delivery platforms, IOT, data monetization)
- Using concept visualization tools such as Mind maps, Visio and roadmap creation tools such as Product Plan would be highly desirable.
- Certification in Enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF) and ITIL v4 is highly desirable.
