Material Call off Planner, 10th of Ramadan – Chocolate Plant, Egypt

Exciting career opportunity in the Manufacturing function, in the capacity of Material Call off Planner – Chocolate Plant, based in Cairo 10th of Ramadan, Egypt.
The main purpose of the role is to coordinate and sequence the short-term (frozen period) material deliveries at the plant buffer warehouse to support the manufacturing execution. The Vendor scheduler will coordinate the short-term receiving windows for the materials inbound based on the weekly MRP procurement requirements and the detailed manufacturing scheduling priorities. Work closely with vendors for ensuring inbound deliveries according to the procurement plan released by the materials planner. A liaison with the Warehouse Manager & Materials Planners for optimizing inbound / outbound operating resources.

Main Responsibilities:

• Optimize daily Vendor deliveries to meet manufacturing production orders scheduled into the Master production plan and Procurement Plan defined.
• Create and manage short term weekly delivery schedule with the Plant Warehouse and vendors for ensuring inbound material delivery execution based on procurement plan received from Materials Planner.
• Monitor shipments to ensure materials inbound on time, and shipments tracing visibility reports for measuring Inventory availability and undelivered exceptions. Prepare status reports about weekly Supplier Delivery performance and short term R&P short fall exception.
• Interacts with Production Schedulers, Vendors and Materials Planners on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding to materials deliveries included into the short term inbound plan.
• Raise purchase orders for inbound RPMP requirements based on the MRP outputs.
• Track purchase orders delivery completion in the short term to support the manufacturing cost execution, Warehouse optimal resources usage and the MPS stability.
• Data analysis and decision making to support raw material availability at the buffer warehouse at the plant. Analyse and prepare receiving sequencing based on Production Scheduler and Materials Planner priorities inputs.
• Support the warehouse periodic raw goods inventory counts / audits for ensuring the accurate MRP inventory records.
• Ensure that invoices blocked for payment due to delivery data mismatches are cleared effectively to prevent the potential for the supplier to put the business on delivery hold.

Requirements

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 2 years of experience in Material planning.
• Fluency in English & Arabic.
• Proficiency in MS office.
• Strong stake holder management skills.
• Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
• Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals.
• Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
• Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in dynamic environment.
