Job description / Role
A well-established Main Contractor with operations across the UAE are currently looking for a MEP Commissioning Manager in Egypt.
You being the successful MEP Commissioning Manager will be overseeing all M&E installation and inspection on site and working closely with the on-site team in delivering the project on time and up to a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Assists in the development and implementation of commissioning plan
- Assists in engineering design reviews
- Assists in the static and dynamic testing of UPS, emergency power, generators, central mechanical plants, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, precision HVAC systems, life safety and controls systems
- Interacts with contractors, interprets design and specifications
- Deals with clients, tries to resolves problems within the scope of the design
- Conducts site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications
- Develops MEP test procedures
- Develops MEP operating procedures
Requirements
- Over 15 years experience within construction delivery
- MEP services background
- Ideally experience having worked for a sub-contractor
- Large project experience including hotels, high rise, commercial and residential, shopping malls etc. Project value over 400AED million
