Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

Modality Services Leader (MSL) shall play a key role linking the global product, services and engineering teams with the local teams at the LCT level across Africa, ensuring timely and proper deployment of NPIs within assigned products, FMI and product quality issues resolutions, drive productivity and EOL programs. The MSL shall handle CSOs and technical escalations that require support beyond the LCT and the L2 (RSL) support.

Essential Responsibilities:

- NPI Excellence - 100% readiness & on time deployment of training, documentation, serviceability, spare parts through multifunctional coordination with HQ and regions Proactive handling of CSOs and Field Technical escalations that require support beyond the LCT FE team and the Region RSL L2 team
- Continuous alignment with Region CCS Service leadership on priorities, projects and KPIs
- Own product & parts quality issues from reporting to resolution; PQM data analysis & improved product quality heatmaps
- FMI Projects Deployment
- Drive material VCP projects with all global and regional stakeholders
- Support EOL w2w process
- Products Technical Data Base management .. CTS, MTBF, MFR, IFR, ..etc.
- Providing training and information on latest developments for field force New Product Introduction
- Region voice for Design for Service initiatives This includes reactive daily support as well as proactive support including Product Solution databases, technical seminars and advanced trainings

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 6 years' experience in Ultrasound
- Prior experience in delivering technical training including installation, troubleshooting and assessing trainees
- Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge or experience
- In depth knowledge of service business
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Open minded with ability to develop relationship with a multinational and multi functional team
- Knowledge of the technical developments within the target market, ability to foresee new developments
- English fluent: daily oral and written communication
- Readiness to travel (30%)
