Senior Solutions Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE

- ou will be part of the Common Solutions Team (CST) which is a virtual team of SITA and Orange professionals dedicated to support Air Transport Industry customers in pre-sales. Your role will be to support customers under Sita Partner Channels. You will be a major contributor to the sale and presale process providing detail input to the go / no go decision.
- Responsible for the end-to-end validation (including design when required) of large, complex multi-BU or nonstandard solutions covering technical architecture, delivery planning, compatibility with Orange operational infrastructure, costing, and SLA.
- Ensure end-to-end feasibility relative to technical architecture, compatibility with Orange operational infrastructure process and IT&S tools.
- Identify reusable solutions and document via the Brick. Provide as reference document via the Customer Solutions Knowledge Portal and deliver well documented repeatable BRICKS to PS Bricks Database.
- Secure validation of nonstandard solution components from the "factories": Marketing/Product/Engineering, Service Delivery and Operation, IT process and Tools, and other affiliates.
- Capitalization of repetitive proposed solutions to expand Professtional Service Consulting community capabilities and support Marketing,Product Management in service evaluation and evolution.
- Responsible for identifying nonstandard costs and risks associated with complex or nonstandard solution components. Respond to Sale/Presale team and the Commercial team with the solution validation, cost associated including risk assessment and mitigation so that it can be converted to the official pricing proposal.
- Minimize response times and ensure solution quality in support of sales.
- Ensure cost effective solutions from both the customer and Orange Business perspective, while meeting or exceeding customer requirements.
- Contributes to the P&L evaluation in support of Commercial / Risk Management: clarification on SLA commitments (target values and measurement tools) identify and clarify technical, delivery and operational risks.
- Coordinate actions internally and externally to ensure Orange Business Services engineering delivery, operations, and IT&S tools can be implemented and all solution components are interoperable.
- After contract win, ensure transition from Pre-Sales to Post-Sales via a kick-off meeting and if required via support in the launch phase of the project - virtual member of implementation team for design issues only.
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services products, services and solutions sets
- Major participant in training to Professional Services community

Requirements

About you

- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in telecommunications industry.
- Experience in sales support and design of telecommunications solutions is a must.
- Knowledge of Network (SDWAN, SDLAN, MPLS, MAN, LAN, WLAN), Voice technologies (PBXs, digital and analog transmission), VoIP & IPT and Security is required.
- Degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent is desired.
- Recognized certification in related field (i.e. Cisco CCDP or CCIE).
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Financial analysis and modeling skills are considered plus.
- Ability to propose and effectively defend proposition.
- Technical and innovative interest.
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter attitude and customer orientation.
- Ability to prioritize task and coordinate teams.
