Network Data Scientist

Job description / Role

Build, test, and deliver analytical models using new datasets to support specific use cases. Prepare and cleanse data, optimise SQL and NoSQL queries, and implement statistical models. Develop descriptive and predictive models for targeted segments such as markets, products, and services. Collaborate with commercial teams to present actionable insights derived from analytical outputs. Participate in business analysis and document specifications for information requests.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within international and distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to communicate complex findings in plain language.
• Experience with advanced analytical techniques including descriptive, predictive, and optimisation models.
• Proficient in SQL and databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their real-world applications.
• Skilled in statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS EM, MATLAB, SPSS, and Teradata Warehouse Miner.
• Academic or professional background in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
