Network Senior Engineer - VOIS

Job description / Role

Role purpose:

To design voice & network services and solutions through liaising with different business domains to capture business requirements and customer's needs, the role include leading and managing virtual technology teams during the design and implementation of the new services and solutions, leading solution assurance with other technology domains throughout delivery phase and provide support for technology operations teams after new services and solutions are transitioned to operations.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Participate in the design of voice and network services solutions in a consistent way with the department strategy and architecture
- Deliver technical service in the network.
- Working as a part with technology teams, different stakeholders from business, technology, operators during solution design and implementation phases.
- Act as a part of the technical team of the project team and competence area to all stakeholders, including the customer and Technology management.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Mobile networks (GSM, 3G) and transport transmission inside a mobile operating company.
- Background in mobile network technology (implementation, support, operation and roll out of services).
- Track record of solution design in a telecoms environment.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in electronic/telecommunications engineering.
- Fixed & mobile IMS / VoLTE / MRF
- Deep understanding of protocols, call flow and products in mobile networks: GSM, 3G.
- Deep understanding of circuit switching services.
- Experienced in MSCs, MGs, VLR, HLRs STPs, VAS & IN products & services (SMS, USSD, with integration experience
- Deep understanding of protocols and products in transport: transmission, IP.
