Job description

The Operations Senior Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and enhancing the company's operational functions across all lines of business (LoBs) and departments. The role includes establishing the Operations Department's budget and conducting monthly follow-ups, ensuring the seamless execution of engineering, manufacturing, and delivery projects while driving operational excellence, efficiency, and alignment with ARIA's strategic goals.

This position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate the corporate vision into actionable operational strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and innovative solutions that meet international standards.

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the company's lines of business (LoBs).
  • Develop the Operations Department's annual budget as part of the company's overall budget and conduct monthly follow-ups.
  • Review and approve project P&L statements and monitor project execution accordingly.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of all projects, from design and production to commissioning.
  • Review and follow up on project plans and testing processes, including FAT and SAT after delivery.
  • Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Translate the Operations Director's strategic direction into operational action plans.
  • Ensure alignment of operations with ARIA's goals in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 trends.
  • Support geographic and sector expansion by ensuring operational readiness and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams to ensure the operational feasibility of client projects.
  • Review and approve project acceptance criteria in line with client requirements.
  • Support client engagements by ensuring technical and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the operational single point of contact (SPOC) to the Operations Director for performance reporting, addressing challenges, and driving improvement initiatives.
  • Foster operational innovation by integrating automation, digital tools, and smart manufacturing solutions.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce cycle times.
  • Benchmark industry best practices to keep ARIA's operations competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with international engineering, manufacturing, and safety standards.
  • Promote health, safety, and environment (HSE) culture across both Automation and Technical teams.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to implement quality assurance control systems that ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor operations teams across multiple functions.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across operations teams.
  • Ensure succession planning, training, and continuous development of operational staff.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing process optimization and lean methodologies
  • Understanding of quality assurance and control systems to meet international client and regulatory requirements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee large-scale industrial projects from design to commissioning
  • Awareness of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technologies, including AI, digital twin, predictive maintenance, and cloud-based solutions

Education

Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
