In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing and optimizing project planning and scheduling, ensuring that all engineering projects run smoothly and are completed on time and within budget. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and can effectively communicate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and ensure alignment with project milestones and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources and track project progress effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, timelines, and resource utilization to stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced project management software to plan and monitor project schedules.
• Support the procurement process by coordinating material and resource availability.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements in scheduling and planning methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project planning or scheduling within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of the local regulatory environment in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
