Employment: Full Time

Job Description

  • Responsible for handling presales activities including providing designs and/or recommended solutions, fulfilling all technical support needs to the sales team in the LoB, along with suggested pricing of the suppliers and expected competition.
  • Design highly technical solutions for the entire integrated solution components (H/W, S/W license, network, connectivity, etc.).
  • Identify the service scope needed to fulfill the customer requirements.
  • Identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).
  • Review the technical components of the proposals that he is responsible for, ensuring the efficient coverage of the customer requirements in these components.
  • Prepare technical write-up and associated drawings that describe specific parts of the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed parts.
  • Study the available solutions of the competitors to be able to provide the optimum components, emphasizing our strong points and hiding our weak points.
  • Involve in customer meetings aimed to describe/discuss the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors.
  • Prepare technical submittals as per bid/tender requirements which include (but are not limited to) methods, plans, organization, implementation strategies, specialized method statements, and commissioning plants, etc.
  • Prepare/raise pre-tender queries and coordinate with the owner department/client for clarification.
  • Develop alternative technical proposals as and where required.
  • Involve in all post-tender activities till contract award including (but not limited to) attendance on meetings with clients/consultants, clarification of post-tender queries, techno-commercial negotiation, etc.
  • Communicate with sales, PMs, and technical teams to gather insights and information on different aspects such as clients' needs and project challenges which can be an added value to the offerings portfolio or changes in proposal.

  • Excellent user of AutoCAD.

Education

  • Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering.
