Position Summary

Create and Maintain pricing components and provide guidance for the day-today operations related to pricing and promotions.

A day in the life of

- Provide on request, technical guidance (advice and simulation) for the day-to-day operations related to pricing setup ensuring accurate and efficient execution
- Process and validate price setup request from all price owners and maintain pricing conditions, rebates and provisions in SAP
- Manage mass pricing updates and facilitate hand off to COS ensuring this is done accurately and, in the timeline, required by requestor
- Support price owners understanding of tools and reporting available to encourage use of self-service functionality (i.e. accrual reporting, pricing simulation tool)
- Lead and support process optimization initiatives on all pricing components in order to reduce pricing validation errors and claims as well as improve invoice accuracy in the Order to Cash process.
- Participation in relevant operational reviews to raise opportunities and prompt actions by Price Owners related to pricing setup - to include proactive alerts when master data changes (e.g. new customer, new materials) & periodic rate updates (e.g. annual contracts)
- Escalate to sales controlling any recurring promotional setup opportunities impacting the Order to Cash process and KPIs
- Design price list template in collaboration with sales team to facilitate future self-service updates.

Requirements

What will make you successful

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field
- 1-3 years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point
- Proficient in SAP & Trade Management System
- Finance or Sales knowledge is a plus
- French Language is a plus
