Job description / Role
Vendor & Partner Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with global and local client computing vendors.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, product allocation, rebates, and contract terms to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate and onboard new vendors or technology partners to enhance the solution offering.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and business objectives.
Product & Portfolio Management:
- Own the full product life cycle of client computing products from market research and planning to launch and post-launch performance.
- Build and maintain a competitive product portfolio tailored for enterprise and government customers.
- Define product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional plans in coordination with sales and marketing.
- Ensure availability and timely procurement aligned with project timelines and demand forecasts.
Enterprise Customer Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with the corporate sales team to understand customer-specific needs and pain points.
- Support in building solution configurations for key accounts and tenders.
- Provide product training, technical support, and documentation to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-performance, cost-effective computing solutions.
Market Intelligence & Data Analysis:
- Track market trends, competitive landscape, and technology advancements in client computing.
- Analyze sales performance, pricing trends, and customer feedback to optimize portfolio strategy.
- Prepare regular reports, business reviews, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, vendor management, or presales—preferably within the IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of client computing products and enterprise IT procurement cycles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, business reporting, and product planning tools.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
