This position is a government relations office.

Position summary
This position is offered on a temporary basis (6 months) initially but may be extended and applicants should be available to start immediately.
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the office location in Cairo.
Assist Country Manager with day-to-day running of administration. Coordinate movement of all personnel for operational and training requirements. Assist Project Managers with project operations and liaise with clients, suppliers, and authorities for the mobilization/demobilization of offshore projects personnel.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist Country Manager with day-to-day running of administration and travel department as required, including secretarial support.
- Liaise with Global Mobility Department for all offshore personnel movements in country.
- Prepare documentation required for military permits for offshore personnel (Coast Guard permits, G26 etc.) and port permits for personnel and follow up issuance process to ensure timely readiness for personnel mobilization to the work site.
- Book chopper for personnel mobilization/demobilization to/from offshore rig.
- Liaise all permits for personnel to go offshore and return.
- Provide assistance to various projects with crew changes.
- Liaise with other offices on a day-to-day basis to assist with project requirements.
- Manage all records of entry/exit stamps, visa expiry dates, and visa requirements.
- Schedule transportation, accommodation, permits etc. for crew members as and when required.
- Assist Project Managers with project operations as required.
- Coordinate personnel and material logistics movements to offshore/onshore locations.
- Coordinate expats' work permits requirements and maintain records of all data.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding all aspects of project management.
- Cover all administrative aspects in the office including companyu2019s registration with EGPC, EGAS etc.
- Filing and archiving files.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 yearsu2019 experience in coordination - secretarial/office administrator role.
- University degree.
- Intermediate English u2013 verbal and written.
- Problem solving.
- Experience with oilfield industry.
Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and have the ability to learn any new application as it may be required.
