Project Manager - Coastal

Job Summary
Khatib and Alami is currently seeking a highly skilled Marine Project Manager with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in design works and project management. The applicant shall have a track record in technical design for marine projects, along with proven leadership in project management and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, successfully driving large-scale projects to completion. You will be responsible for the design and coordination of coastal and maritime infrastructure – responsible for the preparation of coastal engineering calculations, design drawings, design reports, specifications, tender documents and tender evaluations. You will be expected to coach junior engineers in technical aspects of coastal engineering.

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, MSC is a plus.
· +15 years of experience
· Leading teams to deliver coastal engineering designs
· Coastal structures design (beaches, groynes, breakwaters, revetments, scour protection, dredging and reclamation, concrete armour protection)
· Waterfront development master plans, beaches and edge protection
· Marina layout and design
· Marine edge structures design (quay walls, piles, jetties)
· Familiar with numerical modelling of coastal processes (wave transformation and penetration, hydrodynamics and sediment transport)
· Familiar with CFD and physical modelling
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Knowledge of geotechnical engineering is a plus
