Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Supervise and coordinate activities, inspect incoming materials, finished products, semi-finished products and work-in-progress product to ensure adherence to Paints quality standards and customer specifications.
• Ensure the quality as per Company standard, manage and report the supplier’s technical audits as required by customers.
• Ensure that all finished goods are properly inspected and approved prior to release to customer.
• Monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Manage inspection/quality practices to eliminate escapes and minimize customer return.
• Provide specification of quality requirements of raw materials to suppliers.
• Prepare reports and analyze the quality inspection data.
• Review and approve the quality control section related documents.
• Prepare technical reports or documentation such as quality deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analysis
• Prepare and analyze reports related to quality inspection for review, recommendation and approval.
• Assess and review the quality assurance reports related to finished goods and raw material.
• Estimate and analyze the additional cost incurred for the rectification of malfunction bathes and provide recommendation.
• Ensure that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards to ensure all items are properly.
• Inspected and approved prior to release.
• Ensure that quality control section cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Supervise and perform testing including raw materials, in process samples and finished products.
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions regarding the quality control of the product and projects.
• Other duties that may be assigned by Quality Manager.

Requirements

Education:
• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or any related course from reputable university.

Experience:
• Worked at least five (5) years as Quality Control In-Charge from paint manufacturing company or similar field equivalent combination of training and experience.
