Project & Development Services - MENA

JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenants and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.

We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.

Role

The Quality and Handover Manager will oversee quality assurance processes and manage seamless project handovers for Property & Development Services (PDS) operations in Egypt. This role ensures that all deliverables meet established quality standards and that transitions from development to operational phases are executed efficiently and effectively.

What this job involves

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems and procedures across all PDS projects.
• Oversee handover processes from construction completion to operational readiness, ensuring all documentation and systems are properly transferred.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections throughout project lifecycles to maintain compliance with local and international standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve quality issues and ensure project specifications are met.
• Manage defect identification, tracking, and resolution processes during pre-handover and warranty periods.
• Lead client walk-throughs and snagging exercises, documenting and following up on all identified items.
• Establish and maintain quality documentation systems, including inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance records.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards and handover procedures.
• Interface with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to ensure all approvals and certifications are obtained.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and reduce defects.

Desired skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; professional certifications in quality management (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality management within construction, real estate development, or facilities management.
• Proven track record managing handover processes for commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with quality management systems, inspection protocols, and defect management processes.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in quality management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations.
• Experience working with international clients and understanding of global quality standards.
• Leadership experience with ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
