Job Description
- Following the implementation of quality control procedures by inspecting, testing, and qualifying received components to maintain product quality level and cost.
- Establishing a quality manual for each component with all standards and specifications to effectively control the process of components' receiving.
- Qualifying newly introduced suppliers, materials, and components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Measuring suppliers' performance level periodically based on evaluation criteria to enhance components quality level.
- Setting development plans for approved suppliers through audits and visits to improve suppliers' quality level and ensure high quality level for received components.
- Setting plans for periodic audits on warehouses to ensure the implementation of related procedures and standards.
- Measuring plant performance against agreed KPIs and objectives to identify areas for improvement.
- Auditing the performance of manufacturing and production processes by inspecting and testing random samples from manufactured and produced products to maintain product quality level and cost.
- Investigating and troubleshooting production and manufacturing issues and setting agreed actions with the operations team to achieve product and process quality level.
- Monitoring, investigating, and troubleshooting market returns issues and setting responsibilities and needed actions to enhance customer satisfaction level.
- Measuring skills of the QC team and setting training plans based on skills matrix to improve technical skills level for both production and QC teams and encourage them towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations to maintain a safe working area.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of production and manufacturing techniques.
- Very good knowledge of problem solving, statistical tools, and techniques.
- Good knowledge in home applicant's product features.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an added plus.
- ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is an added plus.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience.
Language Skills:
- English (Advanced).
