Raya Foods; one of Raya's subsidiaries, is hiring a Lab Engineer.

What will you do:
- Assists with the introduction, implementation and evaluation of current quality testing approaches and methods within the factory.
- Tests products / materials to maintain quality standards required by (organization, clients, and certifications).
- Reviewing samples from batches of existing products during its production to ensure that they meet the standards.
- Works within the Quality Management System requirements including Certification and Customer requirements.
- Implements quality control tools and techniques to maintain quality standards.
- Reviewing samples from batches of existing products during its production to ensure that they meet the standards.
- Identifies new opportunities for quality improvement.
- Responsible for checking his work space he is working in (Laboratory) regarding the instruments & machines used, concerning their purchasing, maintenance & calibration.
- Keeps required proper documentation and audit trails regarding actions taken against non-conformities.
- Conducts measurement system analysis and required measurement requests.
- Tracks and reports progress of teams' activities regularly, furthermore, reports for all assigned test projects.

Technical skills:
- Good understanding of production and QHSE procedures preventative measures and laboratory best practices.
- Good experience in the industrial field and FMCG.
- Good communication skills are a must.
- Good laboratory skills and experience with analytical equipment/methods.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field.
