The Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.

This position is based in IBM Cairo CPS, role is for Finance Shared Service Centre. You will handle all stockholders for Record to Report Departments for a premium client. This role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that statutory reporting, best practices and digitization is fully embedded in the functional areas to achieve the organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Handle month end activities for a legal entity
• Handle client communication for the legal entity handled
• Highlight process issues/challenges to tackle
• Generate process improvement ideas
• Participate in calls with client on process related issues
• Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
• Process rule & non rule-based journals
• Process intercompany transactions & reconciliations
• Process fixed assets / project accounting transactions
• Perform allotted month end activities
• Perform reconciliations and aging summary
• Independently handle reconciliations of a business unit / legal entity
• Consolidate, review & highlight aged open items in reconciliations
• Perform intercompany transactions & reconciliations
• Gather inputs and support in preparation of financial & Management report

Requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com)
• Commerce Graduate – Accounting &/or Finance
• Any Accounting certificate is a plus
• SAP Knowledge/experience
• Min 3-6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable vertical.
• Applied knowledge of overall accounting process
• Expertise in any specific accounting process – Fixed Assets, Inter company, General Accounting & Reporting
• Good Accounting skills, Good computer skills, very good data entry skills, Analytical skills, Problem solving skills, working experience in an SAP ERP, Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic language
