PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Through our worldwide service and support, SAP Digital Business Services guides companies at every stage of their digital transformation. In DBS Services Delivery we are dedicated to deliver highest excellence services and implementation projects. We provide instant resolution of top pain points, fast access to best practices and information, detailed quality assurance, proofs of concept, expertise on demand, and act as trusted advisor for SAP's latest innovations with focus on our largest customer.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As CoE Lead you are leading the CoE Cairo delivery team and drive the execution of the global SAP DBS Services strategy in different topic areas. You will play an instrumental role in the delivery setup and structure as well as the efficiency and development of your team of experts. You participate in the sales process, judging delivery readiness for proposals and coordinating with peers in other practice areas to provide a comprehensive delivery approach. You drive customers' success through the delivery of implementation projects, application and technical services. You support in project steering committees, escalated projects, and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

MANDATORY SKILLS

- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in managing teams
- University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
- Experience in software implementation projects
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to customers and work abroad also on short notice
- Understanding of SAP business processes such as Oil and Gas Downstream and Primary Distribution (e.g. IS Oil, TSW and associated solutions)
- Execution leadership and strategic thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic

PREFERABLE SKILLS

- Project Management track record (liaison with customer, sales team, customer service teams)
- Experience of working in a virtual team is highly desirable
