Job description
We are seeking a friendly and organized reservation agent / group coordinator to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for managing individual and group reservations, ensuring a smooth booking process, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
- Coordinate group bookings, including room blocks, meeting spaces, and special requests
- Provide detailed information about our accommodations, amenities, and local attractions
- Assist guests with modifying or canceling reservations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Process payments and manage billing for individual and group reservations
- Generate and distribute daily reservation reports
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services when appropriate
- Stay updated on local events and promotions to inform guests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
- Proficiency in reservation systems and booking software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and booking issues
- Basic math skills for handling payments and group rates
- Knowledge of local attractions and services in 6th of October City and surrounding areas
- Familiarity with travel and tourism industry trends
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
