Raya Smart Buildings, one of Raya's subsidiaries, is hiring a safety associate manager.

What will you do?

Develop and enforce all safety, health, and fire protection policies, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Lead routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards across the complex.

Manage comprehensive emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and drills, in coordination with security, engineering, and local authorities.

Direct all safety incident and near-miss investigations, performing detailed root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Oversee tenant and contractor activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols for all projects, including fit-outs and maintenance.

Design and deliver engaging safety training for all staff and contractors to foster a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the property.

Administer the permit-to-work system for all high-risk activities, such as hot work, work-at-height, and confined space entry.

Maintain meticulous safety records and submit timely, accurate reports to both management and relevant regulatory bodies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams like engineering and operations to embed safety practices into daily workflows and strategic planning.

Assist the head of property management in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and leading initiatives to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Skills

What will you need?

Technical skills:

Risk management and hazard analysis

Incident investigation

Emergency planning and response

Regulatory compliance

EHS auditing and inspection

Safety training: Ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging training to employees, contractors, and tenants

Data management and reporting: Experienced with EHS software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for tracking KPIs, managing data, and preparing reports

Preferred certifications and training:

NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely

OSHA

Fire safety certification

First aid/CPR and incident investigation training

Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience

1 year of management or supervisory experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree
