Security Engineer (Elastic Stack)

Job Description
- Implement and configure Elastic Stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana).
- Implement and configure content (Alerts, Dashboards, etc.) on Kibana.
- Configure Logstash, FileBeats, and possibly other ELK Stack components to collect and store the data necessary to meet business requirements.
- Experience in the area of application support and log monitoring specially in ELK
- Experience with implementing and configuring multi-node Kafka clusters.
- Lead log onboarding requirements.
- Integrating ELK with enterprise tools and APIs, e.g. authentication and authorization.
- Capacity Planning of Elastic Search Cluster.

- Possess excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised.

Technical Skills
- 3+ years information security experience
- 2+ years of experience with hands-on development, configuration, deployment, integration or maintenance of systems using technologies that include Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, beats, Kafka, or splunk
- Experience developing and troubleshooting Python, JSON, javascript, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with automated configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Knowledge of planning and executing data retention and life cycle management plan
- Experience with Linux configuration and administration

Education
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, other related field, or equivalent experience.
