Job responsibilities related to the vacant position:
- Responsible for receiving and reviewing purchase requests; verifies that the technical specifications meet the minimum standards that enable a transparent and effective procurement process.
- Participate in the annual procurement planning, gather annual requirements from stakeholders, coordinate with stakeholders to understand the total needs.
- Actively grow the vendor database with reliable and trustworthy local and international vendors.
- Negotiate with suppliers for best deals on pricing and contractual terms ensuring risk management and security of supply.
- Conduct the RFx process, obtain quotations, communicate with local and overseas vendors, and prepare comparison analysis file for each requisition with full specs, catalogs, brochures, and other data from suppliers.
- Monitor the performance KPIs.
- Verify and provide quotation analysis and submit recommendations to relevant manager based on best negotiated price, quality, delivery times, and payment terms.
- Prepare purchase order or contract of selected supplier giving full details of materials or services required and ensure orders are processed and received as per required quality and quantity.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and end-users; coordinate and manage logistical activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, managing multiple categories including but not limited to facility management, IT, and administration.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and supply chain management.
- Communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and computer skills as per job requirement.
- Knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated.
- Experienced in indirect categories with equipment and spare parts.

Work location and model: Onsite (primarily Maadi, with possible work from Sokhna).
Residential location preference: Preferably Cairo.
Fluency in English is a must as they will be dealing with suppliers all over the world.
