Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Essential Responsibilities:

- Accounting of General Ledger entries & ensure completeness and accuracy
- Lead monthly and quarterly closing process of the assigned entities
- Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly management reports
- Review account reconciliation for the assigned entities
- Responsible for analyzing monthly Trial balance and reporting on variances as required
- Reviewing General Ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management
- Participate in preparing annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors & stat team
- Provide FP&A team with financial analysis and/or comments as required
- Preparation and submission of quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Provide accounting expertise to assist other areas in understanding financial information
- Participate in regional projects as required

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance and Accounting)
- Minimum of 7 years related accounting experience
- General Ledger accounting experience is a must
- Very Good knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities
- Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials/SAP
- Experience in closing and Reporting
- Ability to work and succeed within tight deadlines and closing peaks
- Self-motivation and discipline
- Good time management skills
- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision, a self-starter
- Ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively in a team
- Proactive & Eager to learn more within and outside your area of expertise
