PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

In this role you are part of the Business Area Controlling Sales team supporting a Market Unit/Cluster in EMEA South. Main tasks are performing the financial forecast, monitoring performance and driving action plans as well as cascading the yearly budgets. To successfully manage this task and to further strengthen our support for our stakeholders we are looking for a Controller with professional experience preferably from working in an international company.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

- Supporting month-end closing / quarter-end closing activities (e.g. performing checks and analysis on the revenue streams, SOX checks on software revenue, checking correctness of expenses postings)
- Forecasting/budgeting for Line of Business (LOB) Sales with regards to headcounts, P&L etc. on MU level
- Interaction and cooperation with stakeholders in the MU
- Reporting activities for different stakeholders (MU CFO, HR, Sales operations)
- Cooperation with Specialized Controlling teams on the budget and forecast topics
- Supporting projects on standardization and harmonization of controlling processes and tools

Requirements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- University degree or the equivalent with a focus on finance and controlling
- Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfort with working in both a team and independently demonstrating significant self-initiative
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Good knowledge of IT business models
- Good time management with ability to work under stress and time pressure
- Fluency in spoken and written English

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience with a focus on controlling and accounting processes
