About the team

The Design team at Careem crafts user experiences that are simple, intuitive, and delightful. As part of our interdisciplinary group of designers, researchers, writers, and brand experts, you will play a crucial role in shaping how millions of users across the region engage with the Careem app. The team is now building an in-house content marketing team to support copy needs across all verticals, reducing reliance on external vendors and Studio X.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and culturally tuned senior copywriter (Arabic) to join our product design team. This role is essential in meeting the growing demand for localized Arabic content across our platforms. Youu2019ll help write compelling Arabic copy for digital experiences and campaignsu2014ensuring that our tone, clarity, and impact resonate in Arabic-speaking markets.

What you'll do:

• Write engaging Arabic UX and marketing copy for notifications, campaigns, and product surfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and timely translations of content requests
• Adapt Careemu2019s tone of voice for Arabic, maintaining clarity and cultural relevance
• Contribute to content operations by reviewing Arabic content at scale
• Assist with localizing push notes and CRM content with appropriate tone and message fit

What we're looking for:

• 2u20134 years of experience writing Arabic content for apps, with strong preference for Q-commerce or e-commerce backgrounds
• Native Arabic fluency and excellent command of English
• Portfolio showing app-related content, push notes, and CRM copy
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with rapid turnaround needs
• Experience with CRM platforms, push notifications, and banner content
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Figma or design collaboration tools
