EGY Senior Digital Marketing Manager

EG marketing team is seeking a bilingual (English and Arabic) creative, goal-oriented and highly analytical Senior Marketing Manager to join the team and provide the best possible shopping experience to our customers.

This role includes a high degree of complexity, financial risk and responsibility. The role will work across many different teams (retail, product, finance, within marketing) in driving large-scale, high risk projects during peak weeks. The role is responsible for bringing innovation, planning, operational excellence and growth to our largest shopping days and across the multiple initiatives across the year. This role requires a strong analytical understanding, the capability of diving deep into data, and the ability to deliver cohesive marketing and commercial propositions across multiple events within the year. You will prepare and contribute to working backwards documents, present to senior leadership team, work with global teams. You will help to establish measurable best practices for growing the program towards achievement of goals, set up scalable processes and develop methods for automation to improve overall efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual with solid marketing, commercial and financial acumen. You must be comfortable working both at the planning level and diving deep into implementation as needed (managing initiatives, writing business requirements and analyzing data).

• Responsible for marketing and program management of peak sale and customer engagement events for EG, including long term planning and development of strategy for the Events program
• Partnering with internal brand and digital marketing teams to plan, develop, execute and analyze marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
• Own and develop a high bar of customer experience for all events in the organization
• Develop go to market strategies including key propositions and constructs for customer events
• Developing and executing new ideas for driving engagement goals
• Liaising with senior internal stakeholders to develop timely inputs, set-up processes across other functions of the organization to maintain a high bar on quality execution
• Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and propose action plans
• Dive deep and identify customer segments and insights related to usage and the full funnel analysis of Lead lifecycle marketing strategies, inclusive of early onboarding, sustained usage, and churn and win-back programs that deliver downstream impact across the Amazon ecosystem
• Design and execute cross-channel marketing initiatives that drive adoption of new shopping behaviors and lead to repeat purchasing
• Own campaigns targeting and segmentation, messaging, content and design, planning. You will build and execute campaigns, report on individual campaign results and bigger picture trend
• Partner with product and program managers to develop automated tools and marketing programs by customer and lifecycle cohorts to improve personalization, messaging strategies and offers (on and off device)


• Proven experience (+9 years) in program management and digital marketing within the e-commerce sector.
• Strong analytical background and attention to detail with ability to use data to measure performance and determine improvements
• Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic), including with senior-level leaders
• Customer obsession, always curious about what customer like and want
• Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results.
• Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of success metrics.
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or any other related field of study.

• Experience in marketing or CX roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience driving multi-faceted campaigns across touchpoints
• Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of campaigns
• Experience creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders
