About the role
Architecture Responsibilities During solution Build Phase (approximately 50% of time):
- Accountable for the high level overall architecture view of the information technologies.
- Gather architectural functional requirements from the product marketing/ key stakeholders.
- Build high level design for complex solution in regards to different information technologies.
- Lead multiple work streams for complex solutions in order to have a summary of overall architecture components.
- Understand the process for and impact of the overall solution.
- Collaborate with service management consultants and/or service block consultants on every work stream.
- Work closely with operational readiness and process consultants to get an overall solution.
- Build a blueprint of the overall architecture for the solution: including all pertinent use, functional, organic and technical implementation views, plus data models, interconnectivity, dependencies and relationships.
- Respect urbanism and harmonize the design of new services with existing products and services.
- Own, from both a technical and process perspective, the implementation of the solution supported by the project manager and the entire team.
Architecture Responsibilities During Run Phase (approximately 20% of time):
- Accountable for the maintenance of the overall architecture blueprint.
- Contribute as an advisor to any new solutions related to any of the existing solution across different platforms (MySM, MyCIC, MSI@orange, Watch, CCRA).
- Continuously help to improve the overall IT architecture to make it more resilient and cost effective through consolidation recommendations and/or improvement of interconnectivity and data models which can be proposed as new solutions to better fit the business requirements.
- Take part and be a key stakeholder in any complex changes through the lifecycle of the contract to ensure coherence and that risks are identified and corresponding mitigations are put in place.
- Participate in board reviews with the key partners to discuss the end-end architecture performance, as well as any issues, risks, mitigations and contingency plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 + years of experience in professional services, solution design, process development, and as a subject matter expert in the global telecommunications and services industry. At least 10 years of previous experience in IT service design and improvement.
- Profound Knowledge of enterprise IT systems, including:
- IT Service Management
- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
- Enterprise Content Management
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Business Intelligence (BI)
- Automated billing systems
- Payment processing
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Call center and customer support.
- Successful experience in a customer facing role.
- Strong knowledge of service ITSM activities.
- Strong experience in different monitoring tools (application and network).
- Complete understanding of product development environment:
- Product development life cycle
- Product management
- Marketing collaterals development
- Product pricing
- Product positioning
- Service catalogue
- Proofs of concept
- Products enhancement roadmap.
- Knowledge of Orange portfolio of products and services.
- Ability to effectively matrix manage other Orange organizations (i.e. sales, project management, operations, etc.) in the delivery of service management solutions.
- Ability to deal with large and demanding customers under tight timeframes.
- Team working, conflict management, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of selling in an indirect or direct channel model.
- Flexibility and openness to new technical and commercial processes.
- Participation in new process creation committees to guarantee proper handover and interlock required between presales, delivery, and operations.
- Understanding different markets requirements and providing feedback for offer development or enhancement for certain markets or verticals.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Access.
