Senior Personal Banker

Job description / Role

Key responsibilities:

Customer service & relationship management:
Address customer walk-ins and provide required banking services.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by responding to needs and offering tailored solutions.

Sales & business development:
Meet weekly sales targets for customer visits and tele-calling.
Introduce, explain, cross-sell, and up-sell bank services and products.
Achieve sales and revenue targets through new customer acquisition and existing customer relationship strengthening.

Branch operations & trade finance:
Support daily branch operations related to customer service.
Stay informed about product features and competitor offerings.
Assist with trade finance operations to ensure accurate and efficient service.

Customer acquisition & retention:
Conduct outside visits to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
Work with branch management to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
Banking certifications are a plus.

Experience:
3+ years of experience in retail banking with a focus on sales and customer service.
Experience in trade finance operations is desirable.

Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of banking products and services.
Ability to meet sales targets and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
