About the job:

As a plumbing design engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed plumbing system designs, preparing plumbing construction documents, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of plumbing systems. You will also be involved in conducting site visits, evaluating existing plumbing systems, and providing technical support throughout the construction process.

Key responsibilities / deliverables:

• Designing and developing plumbing system layouts, including pipe sizing and equipment selection.
• Preparing detailed plumbing construction documents, such as plans, specifications, and material schedules.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of plumbing systems.
• Conducting site visits to evaluate existing plumbing systems and identify potential issues or improvements.
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to plumbing system design.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any plumbing system issues that arise during construction or operation.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• More than 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience in plumbing system and firefighting design for construction projects.
• Proficiency in plumbing design software, such as Revit.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing system standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Language proficiency requirements:

Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
