Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the Operations Director and pre-sales team to understand the project being evaluated to ensure that the successful bid will be managed successfully.
  • Manage the handover process from the bidding team to the operations team to ensure the proper kick-off of the project.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Prepare the detailed project time plan with detailed time schedule in coordination with all stakeholders including the project manager of the client.
  • Ensure that all risks are identified, and applicable action plans are acknowledged by all and ready if applicable.
  • Coordinate with procurement, purchasing, and logistics all material ordering and delivery considering all logistics aspects mentioned in the contract.
  • Ensure continuous and periodical communication between all stakeholders of the project to ensure that the delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Represent Jafeer in all meetings and communications with client representatives.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and manage the day-to-day activities within the project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Ensure project revenue and cash status are matching planned for both inbound and outbound.
  • Allocate resources on the project, assign work to the team, and monitor the progress of the team, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Manage the staff chargeability and all other project costs and expenses to ensure that they are within the budget and prepare and submit project profit/loss status reports to the Operations Director.
  • Accountable for documenting the progress of the project and keeping track of the progress against planned and required milestones and submitting monthly project progress reports.

  • Ability to travel frequently and relocate.

Technical skills

  • PMP certification is required.
  • Good software and application background.
  • Cyber security knowledge is a plus.
  • Very good at using MS Office and has suitable typing speed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
