About the role

Define and oversee project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility for large-scale, complex projects. Ensure that any commitments made are feasible and achievable.

Develop, maintain, and adapt detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.

Organize project tasks and allocate resources, ensuring that significant projects are successfully delivered on-time, within scope, and budget.

Implement and maintain the project governance structure, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and standards, adapting to the needs of each project.

Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change control processes and tools.

Collect, rationalize, analyze, and utilize multiple points of project data to inform decision-making and drive project performance.

Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and resolve issues across significant or complex projects, maintaining a risk register and issue log.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders, managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Define, manage, and realize project benefits, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and customer business needs.

Ensure seamless project handover to operations, including training and support documentation.

Responsible for the performance review of the project managers directly reporting to the senior project manager in the project organizational chart.

Responsible for providing feedback on the performance of all the resources working as part of the project to their line managers.

Accountable for working with the line manager of the resources to develop the required performance improvement plan if needed.
