Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large F-M-C-G Company in Egypt.
As a Senior Purchaser , you would be responsible to lead the local purchasing activities for indirect material and services, working together with the region supplier Management team and local stakeholders to ensure supply of high quality material and services at lowest possible price. in this role senior purchaser is also responsible for the implementation of the cluster and global category strategy.
• Drive local sourcing and contracting activities based on agreed strategy.
• Implement global, cluster and local contracts.
• Manager local supplier base
• Identify and implement cost saving initiatives
• Drive cost and spend follow-up with suppliers
• Drive and measure supplier performance.
• Develop & Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess at least 5 years of procurement experience with a multi-national company and degree in purchasing,Business administration,supply chain management or equivalent.
