Job description / Role
Job Summary:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor is a senior member of the construction supervision team. He is responsible for the financial administration of supervision contracts. The jobholder checks contractors' payment applications and verifies the amounts claimed by contractors against supplier invoices and measurement records. He provides advice on methods of measurement found in the contract and ensures the contractor is accurately paid for actual work done in accordance with the method of measurement stated in the contract
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience : 12 years in the same position
- Language skills : Very good English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of construction supervision services
- Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
- Good financial planning and budgeting skills
- Good time management skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience with FIDIC Clauses
- PMP Certification is preferred
