Job Description

Tax Compliance and Reporting:
- Review and file various tax returns, including income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and payroll tax, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor and maintain records on the e-tax system, ensuring all data aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare necessary documentation and data to facilitate tax inspections and audits by the Egyptian Tax Authority.

Tax Planning and Advisory:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.

Audit and Risk Management:
- Lead tax inspections and audits, coordinating with external consultants and internal departments to provide required analyses and documentation.
- Challenge inspection results where appropriate and implement lessons learned to improve future compliance.

Skills

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Postgraduate certifications or professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are advantageous.

Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in dealing with various types of taxes and leading tax inspections is preferred.

Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
