About the role

The CTIO department oversees decision-making information systems, serving Orange Business different lines of businesses such as marketing, pre-sales, sales, production, after-sales services, and customer service for both France and international domains.

In this context, the Customer Care Reporting and Analytics SAFe® train aims to provide the Orange business customers with a digital reporting solution to measure the commitment towards the contractual SLAs. The Orange Reporting and Analytics (ORA) is the new digital reporting solution. This application will be developed in Agile SCRUM mode, bringing more advanced analytical features to go beyond the historical contractual reporting features which used to be provided by the customers' service managers, adding more value and meeting the customers' expectations regarding what to be reported, the look & feel, accuracy of the report, report availability, and reliability.

About you

The IT and Service architect will come up with high-level solutions for business applications, systems, portfolios, infrastructures, or an entire enterprise. He/She develops IT services and solutions and often designs and manages communications, security, networking, and storage serving the customer reporting digital solution.

In an Agile context, the IT and Service architect is required to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Planning: Create a project roadmap showing how things should progress from the current situation to the expected results. This roadmap should also feature necessary milestones and significant activities.
  • Presenting and Communicating: Communicate and present his vision to all management levels and any required experts. Furthermore, he must be able to explain his work to people outside of the IT field. This responsibility also includes handling any conflicts that arise.
  • Leading: Act as a leader by clarifying goals and expectations, and keeping all the developers contributing in the CCRA train on the right track.
  • Managing stakeholders: Identify the most important and relevant stakeholders and get their input to shape the architecture.
  • Change management: Must understand how changes will affect different aspects of the business, such as business processes and functions, personnel, data, and application and infrastructural changes. These changes aren't just limited to the current project; they must also consider what future changes may be needed, including adding new processes or more advanced technologies.

  • Create, design, prototype, and test new algorithms, methods, and models.
  • Define the application, system, and technical architectures for significant areas of development.
  • Define and enforce relevant technical procedures and standards.
  • Take point in researching and developing new software products and applications.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following skills and technologies is mandatory:

  • Knowledge of backend programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, etc.)
  • Experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
  • Data visualization using PowerBI, QlikView, Tableau, etc.
  • Database (SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB/Cassandra)
  • Microservices and design patterns
  • Experience with queue mechanisms such as Kafka, Redis, and usage of push notifications.
  • Cloud computing
  • IT management
  • IT security
  • System architecture
  • Excellent experience in developing REST API (+ Swagger)
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN)
  • Experience in using API gateways is a plus
  • Test tools (Code quality/vulnerability/performance, etc.)
  • Good experience in working in Agile and DevOps is a plus
  • ITIL foundation knowledge (certificate is a plus)
  • SAFe® for teams certification is a plus

Educational background

  • B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
  • Fluent in both English and French languages

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in development activities
