Job description

Responsible for leading the delivery of design, documents and site support activities related from a technical electrical side in MEP projects.

  • Provide the delivery of company security systems design, submittals, shop drawings, and any other technical documents required for activities in the project and ensure the proper execution of the technical tasks done during project execution.
  • Estimate the required project cables, materials, cost for electromechanical projects.
  • Provide all technical data required to the customer in the design phase from office or in any required meeting or presentations.
  • Review all outputs from his team and ensure that the full requirements with right technicalities are achieved before submitting to the customer.
  • Manage the technical knowledge build up for all junior technical office engineers to maintain a high level of quality delivery of the technical documents.
  • Resolve the technical comments and fulfil the required technical activities through team according to the workload assigned to each member.
  • Improve his technical skills to have optimum productivity levels and minimize idle engineering-hours.
  • Manage the technical status and monitor the execution of a given project to ensure that it is in line with the approved design.
  • Solve all clients' technical problems and follow-up on the status of the technicalities provided to clients.
  • Submit regular reports to the technical office team leader on progress of service and the critical technical problems.
  • Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation and user guides as required and ensure that team members' knowledge is up to date.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
