Site Construction Field Supervision Engineer

As a site construction field supervision engineer you will provide structural engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the structural engineering team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Monitors construction of NPP's and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
• Supports the client in civil construction site inspections.
• Participates in safety, environmental and hazard assessments.
• Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to site construction.
• Reports on project performance against the baseline plan.
• Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
• Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
• Reviews as-built documentation for completeness as per EPC contract requirements and applicable standards.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Strong construction oversight skills; 8 years of construction field supervision.
• Experience in multi-cultural teams.
• NPP or nuclear-related construction experience is required.

Special job requirements

• Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
• Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
