Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Speciality Chef De Cuisine Multi Outlets to join our culinary team in Cairo, Egypt. In this leadership role, you will oversee multiple food outlets, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative menus for multiple dining outlets, incorporating local and international cuisines
  • Lead and mentor kitchen teams across various outlets, fostering a culture of culinary innovation and excellence
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and budgets to maintain profitability while ensuring quality
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance guest experiences and drive customer satisfaction
  • Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu offerings
  • Oversee quality control for all food preparation and presentation across outlets
  • Participate in food promotions, special events, and culinary competitions to enhance the reputation of the outlets

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in high-end restaurants or hotels, with a proven track record in managing multiple food outlets
  • Advanced knowledge of various international cuisines and current food trends
  • Expertise in menu planning, food cost management, and inventory control
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large kitchen teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Creativity and innovation in culinary techniques and presentation
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and MS Office applications
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical aspects of position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps

Visa requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
